WV to DNC - NObama!

Can you hear us now?  Count the votes already cast for Hillary in Florida and Michigan.  Stop with the misogyny already and nominate the strongest and best candidate to go against McCain.

Today I have heard several radio commentators/hosts remark on how tired Obama is getting, of course, being sympathetic [it's all her fault it's gone on so long], but I wonder.

One even mentioned BO saying he'd been in 57 states and then, repeating 57 states again. Now that's tired! And there is that habit he has of running home to rest even before the ballots are counted in states he lost.

Why is this seemingly strong, young male exhausted? Does it indicate a latent health problem? Stress may be making him tired but think of the stress in the Oval office or facing up to McCain in debates or enduring the firestorm of negativity from the right.

On the other hand, there's the Energizer bunny in a pants suit, a good 10 years his senior, looking and acting like the first day of the campaign. This is an amazing feat as she has been running with the mean-stream media, AARadio, poisoned blogs and the DNC on her back throughout.

Not a peep from the cables about BO's seemingly weak constitution but just wait if he officially wins the primary and has old guy McCain dancing circles around him.

Traditional core Democrats have been re-designated by Obomites.  The Dnc's Donna Brazile has delineated the new Obama Party as being AA's, younger, urbane, suburban and upscale, "... and we don't have to just rely on white blue-collar voters and Hispanics" [incidentally these are Hillary's base].

That means down with Bubba, women, older, blue collar and all minorities other than AA's.  The racial division was planned and executed by the Obama campaign from the git-go.

Race Man by Sean Wilentz
How Barack Obama played the race card and blamed Hillary Clinton.
Post Date Wednesday, February 27, 2008

<>"To a large degree, the campaign's strategists turned the primary and caucus race to their advantage when they deliberately, falsely, and successfully portrayed Clinton and her campaign as unscrupulous race-baiters--a campaign-within-the-campaign in which the worked-up flap over the Somali costume photograph is but the latest episode. While promoting Obama as a "post-racial" figure, his campaign has purposefully polluted the contest with a new strain of what historically has been the most toxic poison in American politics. More than any other maneuver, this one has brought Clinton into disrepute with important portions of the Democratic Party. "/

Who supports Senator Clinton?  "Some 60 percent of white women support Hillary.  Asian and Hispanic women support her. Hillary also pulls in the most Catholic voters, Hispanic voters and blue-collar workers both male and female, and seniors."

These people are dependable voters.

OMG Barock O'bomber is sickly, he wil die first day in office LOL!

Isn't, you know, crowing about West Virginia about a half-week late?  Hasn't it become obvious that even Hillary Clinton is letting on that she knows the race is over?

If you want to talk about misstatements, I guarantee you that Obama is not the one that loses that fight.

Yeah, Obama stole that news cycle from Hillary within 24 hours.  Ancient history.  Next big story will be Obama officially capturing insurmountable pledged delegate lead and getting big endorsement(s) in my hometown of Tampa on Wednesday.  Booyakasha!

p.s. MyDD dead-enders will focus on Kentucky but no one else will.

Re: WV to DNC - NObama! (2.00 / 2)

Neither Dem canidiate would win WV in November, so I'm pretty sure the DNC really wouldn't care what they say.

If you're going to cherry pick a state to highlight, at least pick one that is an actual battleground.

Re: WV to DNC - NObama! (none / 0)

You're wrong, Hillary is polling to win WV. That said, it's a long way to November and McCain is averaging about three misstatements a week.

She may be polling well there now, but after watching the video of some of the exit polling in WV, I really believe people were voting for the lesser of two evils, in their mind anyway.

There is only one GE poll, and it puts Clinton 5 points up over McCain. This was in late February, but it is still the only poll available.

I mean, really?  Really?  That's what you're now resorting to?  Ridiculous, Fox News-style question marks? And "young"? Um, he's 46.

What's up with some of you?  When did support of Clinton morph into such hate for Obama?

Re: WV to DNC - NObama! (2.00 / 4)

Count the votes already cast for Hillary in Florida and Michigan.

From the content of this diary I wouldn't expect you to have any real knowledge of the nomination process, but just so you know, the Rules and Bylaws Committee meets on the 31st, not whenever-the-hell-you-want-them-too.

Stop with the misogyny already and nominate the strongest and best candidate to go against McCain.

Clinton supporters are nothing if not misogynist to female Obama supporters. I have seen Pelosi, Michelle, McCaskill, Sebelius and even NARAL dragged through the mud and denigrated in the most uniquely sexist ways for their choice.

John McCain hates terrorists, except the ones that hate women. Those are just swell.
by terra on Sat May 17, 2008 at 08:57:53 AM EST

Well, (2.00 / 4)

It's only misogynist when an argument (misogynistic or not) is aimed at Hillary.  All arguments aimed at other women or women's groups are simply sound debating when they come from Hillary supporters.

It;s in the rules somewhere, I think.

Yes, but you don't do it justice. Not only is it pointless, speculative and old, it also repeated two paragraphs. And while I forgive the first three on a daily basis, I cannot condone bad syntax.

The people "crown" Obama (none / 0)

On April 8th of 1992 a full two months before he would secure enough delegates to claim the nomination Bill's staff was calling him the presumptive nominee:

[Apr 8, 1992] Clinton's showing yesterday convinced many Democrats that, even with the depth of concern about his character and his ability to win in November within his own party, his nomination is now all but assured. "Bill Clinton is the presumptive nominee," declared Mark Mellman

As to the states that are being "ignored"... these are the states that didn't even matter in 1992:
April 28: Pennsylvania
May 5: DC, Indiana, North Carolina
May 12: Nebraska, West Virginia
May 19: Oregon, Washington [primary]
May 26: Arkansas, Idaho [primary], Kentucky
June 2: Alabama, California, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio
June 9: North Dakota

Re: WV to DNC - NObama! (2.00 / 2)

I'm sure both candidates are exhausted. You can hear it in Hillary's strained voice and in Obama's "57 states" comment (which was pretty funny, but I have no doubt that he knows we only have 50 states plus voting territories and American's abroad).

Let us allow democracy to run it's course. Let the candidates make their case to the remaining voters and let the voters be heard. Let the race continue, let every voter vote, and let every vote count. I support Hillary, but more importantly, I support our democracy in action.

The measure of leader (none / 0)

is in what she or he does when things are NOT going his/her way
he didn't even go to WV to thank all the hard-working volunteers on his campaign
he dismisses those who don't vote for him as less than worthy
Have we become so hardened that we are actually skeptical of the candidate that keeps on fighting, that maintains a positive attitude about all citizens and their desire for better lives for themselves and their families?
We want a President who wants to be bothered with the issues that matter.
The more I observe Senator Obama, the more I see someone who wants to win only for winning's sake. That is not the person I want to lead the Democratic Party for the next 8 years.

WV proves Obama can win... (2.00 / 2)

...work with me here on this.  Obama suffered a crushing defeat on Tuesday, but on Wednesday, with a amazing act of political ju jitsu wiped the loss off the news cycle with the Edwards endorsement.

An intelligent candidate who can play the system, thats the one who will get elected. (Especially when he has an insurmountable lead)

BTW, I wonder who he has in his pocket for Wednesday,  AG perhaps :)

sigh (2.00 / 1)

This has to be one, if not the most, foolish and incoherent diaries I've read on this site. So Obama looks tired, huh? I guess that you were too tired to notice those huge bags and shadows under Hillary's eyes that would make any raccoon envious.
And no, Obama is not the one with health issues. Denial, delusions and paranoia are indications of a much more serious psychological disorder. This ailment seems to run rampant with Hillary and her followers.
