Romney, McCain, and Huckabee have ALL said CRAP  against each other yet Romney and Huckabee are now both campaigning for McCain.

I think that Obama needs to campaign by himself for awhile and perhaps Hillary could campaign for him in the Fall.

Hillary is the only person who can convince her core supporters to back Obama.  If they feel like she is being shoved aside, that will only make matters worse.

I think Hillary needs to take the head off of anyone  in the press who attacks her character. She should not let the press come to her with made up quotes and let them get away with attacking her honesty. This applies most strongly to liars like russert and Brian williams of the media. She should do whatever is asked of her with her head held high.

The diarist's comments are incredibly myopic due to two "minor" details!

1.) Half the freakin' party voted for her!

2.) This is not a decision that folks like us are going to have ANY input on. Obama and his advisors will use their surrogates as they see fit, and as their internal polling results and field organizations advise them.

Clinton in NY, WV, KY, AR, CA, MA, and many other places where her message hit a popular chord will be critical to Obama's chances in November.

This doesn't even take into account her ability to raise up to $100 million on Obama's behalf!

I think the diarist needs a lesson in basic demographics and common sense.

This week has yielded mountains of proof the the old adage:

"You can't win for losing."

Your guy is going to be nominated. I know that winning is tough- very hard to deal with. Give her a break.

If Barack and Hillary can set aside their differences and work together (as politicians do all the time), then their supporters should have no trouble doing the same. It's only so-called "supporters" or incredibly immature people who hold on to these resentments.

I think it would be a terrible mistake for all involved: Hillary, Barack, and the Democratic Party in general for her not to campaign vigorously for Obama. With the exception of a few militant partisans, people want the hostilities to end. I know I do. I am SO tired of all the sniping and back-biting.

I want nothing more than to visit this site and see the guns trained on McCain rather than each other.

If Hillary is seen to be standoffish or cold in her support that may please a few die-hards but it will do nothing for democrats in the middle or Obama's core supporters. Should Hillary wish to run again 4 or 8 years from now she is going to need those people.
